I purchased this original painting from the evocative "Heritage Series" at an exhibition of Ian's work. 

I am delighted with this beautiful painting. Only on closer inspection does it reveal its hidden secret - the Welsh dragon.

Ian painted a portrait of my late brother who was the Chief Fire Officer of Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service. I commissioned the portrait for my sister-in-law and my niece. Ian had to work from photographs having never seen my brother in the flesh so to speak.

His work was fantastic, and the likeness was incredible. My sister-in-law is thrilled to bits with it. I can thoroughly recommend Ian and if you are looking for an artist pick him.

I first commissioned Ian for a portrait of my late father-in-law and supplied him with a photograph. The end result was outstanding and this was presented to my wife as a surprise and gift to cheer her up during a family get together. Needless to say it had more than the desired effect.

Over eighteen months ago, my mother-in-law passed away and once again, Ian was commissioned for a further painting.

His abilities are outstanding as an artist, paying particular attention to the smallest of details in the photos I provided. I was very impressed by the way he sent me progressive images as he put together the paintings and keeping me in the loop. It was actually amazing to see how he does it!

To say his work is incredible is somewhat of an understatement and I would have no hesitation in recommending him and using his service again.
