The Story Behind “Date Night – Nos Dyddiad”
 
As the day slowly ebbed towards the moment that had been rehearsed time and time over, he stood nervously at her doorstep, the vibrant daffodils bunched together in his hands behind his back. He stood anxiously fidgeting as he reached for the bell. 
 
A lifetime passed before a second of stillness and a pause in his beating heart. She smiled, curiously glancing first at the unexpected visitor, and secondly towards the awkwardly half hidden bunch.
 
Shyly, he presented the bright yellow flowers, whispering with hope “for you”.
 
She smiled knowing she wanted nothing else.
